Akola Manor is a protected historic country house in Ii, in North West Finland bordering Lapland. Built in 1796, it represents a rare local timber interpretation of Gustavian style manor architecture.
Buses going from Oulu Train Station to Akola Manor will leave at every hour.

Night Train

A musicaly curated night train ride. In collaboration with VR Finnish Railways. A newly-designed sleeper car with 19 cabins powered by Genelec soundsystem.

Curated list of 8-hour-long musical tracks specifically composed to support sleep.

OPEN CALL
Apply to our Open Call for the Night Train sleep track. The application calls for approx. 20 minutes long previews of tracks composed specifically for sleep. The winner will get to produce a full lenght 8-hour track, while the other submissions will be played in listening sessions during the ÄÄNI festival.
